Course overview

BTEC Level 2 qualifications are intermediate qualifications for post-16 learners who want to specialise in a specific occupation, occupational area or technical role. It prepares learners for work or progression to Level 3 qualifications by giving them the opportunity to develop sector-specific knowledge, technical and practical skills, and to apply these skills in work-related environments. You will cover Skills Development and Performing Arts Production, Creative Interpretation, as well as Audition and Portfolio Process as part of your units.

Course requirements

No previous skills or requirements needed. Just a willingness to learn and a passion for performing.

What will I do?

You will cover a range of knowledge-based sessions and practical workshops. On a full time, study programme you will also study English and maths if you did not get a Grade 4 or above as school, as well as other enrichment programmes.

What will it give me?

A Level 2 qualification in order to progress to a higher level within the college.

Materials needed

Basic course materials, stationery, file etc. costumes etc. would be organised by the department.
