Course overview
BTEC Level 2 qualifications are intermediate qualifications for post-16 learners who want to specialise in a specific occupation, occupational area or technical role. It prepares learners for work or progression to Level 3 qualifications by giving them the opportunity to develop sector-specific knowledge, technical and practical skills, and to apply these skills in work-related environments. You will cover Skills Development, Preparing and Performing Arts Production as part of your units.
Course requirements
No previous skills or requirements needed. Just a willingness to learn and a passion for performing.
What will I do?
You will cover a range of knowledge-based sessions and practical workshops. On a full time, study programme you will also study English and maths if you did not get a Grade 4 or above as school, as well as other enrichment programmes.
What will it give me?
A Level 2 qualification in order to progress to a higher level within the college.
Materials needed
Basic course materials, stationery, file etc. costumes etc. would be organised by the department.
