Find out about Higher Education options at coffee morning
Now that the children are back at school, would you also like to go back to the classroom to learn something new?
If you would like to return to education to help you retrain for a new career, help secure a promotion at work or prepare you for a degree course - drop into Bishop Auckland College next week.
We are holding a coffee morning on Friday September 15 from 9.30am to 11am where you can pop in to find out more about our introductory courses in Access to HE, Early Years/Childcare, Sociology & Criminology, Counselling, Healthcare Studies and Sport.
There will be an opportunity to sign up for one of our short taster courses or, if you are sure what you would like to study, you can enrol on a full course which work around term-time.
We offer excellent teaching from outstanding staff, combined with extensive tutorial support with superb resources. A variety of teaching styles includes discussions in small groups and as a class, seminar style work and lectures with support for note making and assignment writing.
With small classes too, the feedback we get from students is that the classroom atmosphere is friendly and helpful. The college also boasts outstanding achievement rates; our 2023 graduates included a high percentage of First Class Honours and 2:1 degree successes.
