Learners help parishioners decorate Christmas trees

Our Employability Skills and Aspire learners (from Group 1, 3 and maths) enjoyed taking part in St Anne’s Church's annual Christmas tree decoration in Bishop Auckland today.

The students decorated two trees all made out of sustainable materials and resources they sourced themselves, including recycled paper, pine cones, dried fruit, twigs, wood, salt dough and bottle tops.

They were greeted by the local parishioners and their efforts were rewarded with cakes and sweet mince pies!
