Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a 1.0 Lecturer Coordinator in English who will be responsible for teaching GCSE and functional skills English as a member of an experienced and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher with the potential to be involved in an exciting national project designed to improve student outcomes. The successful candidate will be required to possess Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within 2 years) and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (or currently working towards). It is desirable that the candidate will also possess a Level 3 Assessors Certificate and QTLS.
Applicants will also have recent experience of teaching on a range of courses in FE or a training establishment.
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
