Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger who will be responsible for contributing to the efficient & effective operation of the Bishop Auckland College Group Finance Section.

The successful candidate will require a minimum of 5 GCSE passes; level 2 qualifications in literacy & numeracy (or be willing to work towards in 2 years); and level 1 safeguarding (to be achieved within 6 weeks).

Applicants will also have experience of working in a finance office – minimum 1 year; experience of dealing with external customers/suppliers; and experience of working with Microsoft word & excel.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
