Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a NVQ Assessor in Information, advice & guidance who will be responsible for the effective and efficient assessing within the relevant area.

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a NVQ Assessor in Information, advice & guidance who will be responsible for the effective and efficient assessing within the relevant area. The successful candidate will have Safeguarding Level 1
(to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (or be willing to work towards within 2 years), Assessor Units - (or willing to work towards within 1 year), Assessor units - assessors must hold either the QCG, DipCG, QCGD, Level 6
Diploma in Career Guidance and Development, Unit 3 of the Level 6 Diploma (Career guidance theory), Level 4 LDSS NVQ (Supporting Young People) or Level 4 Advice and Guidance NVQ. For assessors who have achieved either the LDSS or Advice and Guidance
NVQ, career guidance must have been studied and applied as part of the qualification. Applicants will also have vocational experience in relevant area and experience of assessing in the work place.
