Part Time Teacher in Early Years/Teaching Assistant

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Part Time Teacher in Early Years/Teaching Assistant who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant area.

£22.62 per hour (Un-Qualified), £23.97 per hour (Qualified). Hourly rate includes annual leave entitlement.

Variable hours contract
Duration:
Temporary position from August 2020 until June 2021

The successful candidate will have Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (or willing to work towards within 2 years), a relevant level 3 qualification in specialist area of Early years and/or Teaching Assistant and a Certificate in Education (or willing to work towards within 2 years). 

Applicants will also have experience of teaching on a range of courses and a recent sustained good or outstanding judgements and lesson observations (or have the ability to prove this in the interview process).
