Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer who will join the IT Services department located within Bishop Auckland College. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of computer systems and services across all the whole College group.

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer who will join the IT Services department located within Bishop Auckland College. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of computer systems and services across all the whole College group. The successful candidate will require a Level 3 qualification in computing or related subject. It is desirable that the candidate has Microsoft MTA/ MCP/ MCSA/ MCSE, Comptia A+, N+ or similar certification. Applicants will also have detailed knowledge of Windows Server applications such as Active Directory and Group Policy and an understanding of Office 365 Admin Centres including Azure AD, Exchange, Intune, Security & Endpoint Manager. This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
