Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Lecturer Coordinator/Trainee Lecturer Coordinator in Programming & Systems Development who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant Curriculum area. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to build the curriculum around their talents and interests in computing.

Our new digital technology suites feature bespoke gaming benches, corsair gaming chairs, custom built intel core i7 gaming PCs, 27” 1440p 120hz gaming monitors, Razer gaming keyboards and mice, access to a HTC Vivo Pro VR headset and 86” smart interactive display boards in each of the suites.
The successful candidate will require a degree in computing, a Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within 2 years), Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy (or willing to work towards within 2 years) and Level 2 in Numeracy (or willing to work towards within 2 years). It is desirable that the candidate has a degree containing programming units.
Applicants will also have 3 years’ experience of working in the digital sector or recently graduated in a programme with significant programming / systems development / gaming content.
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity.
This role maybe suited to someone who has recently graduated from university.
