Progression Coach (CEIAG Specialist)

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Progression Coach and is a CEIAG Specialist. The role will be responsible for facilitating sustainable positive destinations for a caseload of students, including disadvantaged students and those with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) or inclusion needs. The role will also involve providing careers advice and guidance to all students at Bishop Auckland College and South West Durham Training.

The successful candidate will require a level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance as well as have, or be willing to work towards, a Level 6 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance. The successful candidate will also require Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy (or willing to work towards within 2 years), Level 2 in Numeracy (or willing to work towards within 2 years).

It is essential that applicants have experience of providing advice and guidance on learning and work opportunities to a arrange of client groups.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity.
