£146.25 / 37.5hrs per week – Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm
Qualification that you’ll work towards:
Business Administration – L3
Composing emails to internal staff and external customers
Answering order and delivery enquires by email
Dealing with invoices for accounts
Making and receiving telephone calls
Maintaining customer account details
Inputting customer orders on to sage
Input accurate information via various data bases.
Use of spreadsheets
Filing and record maintaining
Maintain an accurate electronic filing system.
General office administration.
Full training will be provided with our data systems and use of sage. As an apprentice we value your training therefore you will be designated a mentor to support you. You will be supported throughout your course with Bishop Auckland College, use of Smart assessor and a designated tutor. You will be responsible for ensuring that all college work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.
Good telephone manner
Effective communication skills
Good computer / IT abilities – especially with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Good numeracy skills
Willingness to learn and use initiative
Good work ethics
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Confident to communicate with others.
The ability to prioritise and organise work loads
Maths and English grade 4 or above. ICT desirable if you do not have this you will need to work towards and achieve it during your course time.
