£200.00 / 40hrs p/w – Tuesday to Saturday, Split shifts 10.30 to 3.00 and 5.30 to 9.30

Job description:
To assist in all sections of the kitchen operation, to ensure that statutory obligations and company standards are met, that a smooth, efficient service is maintained and that the product provided to our guests is of the highest standard. Adhere to prescribed standards and maintain a workload rate that is sufficient to ensure the efficient running of the kitchen operation and the avoidance of interruptions to service.

Food items are delivered in appropriate packaging.
Food items are stored correctly and stocks rotated and temperature recorded and are handled, cooked and served correctly.
Adhere strictly to the company’s standards relating to personal presentation, hygiene and uniform standards.
Arrive to work on time.
Listen to instructions and apply learning to ensure progress in line with company standards in one to one coaching environment or on the job training.
Establish and use clear lines of communication within the kitchen operation and with restaurant staff.
Report all faults or damage to equipment in accordance with company procedures.
Have knowledge of a follow company and statutory Health and Safety security and emergency procedures.
Support all members of the team to achieve and maintain operational standards to the highest possible level in respect of service, hygiene and health and safety and ensure that there is minimal wastage.
Carry out all duties associated within a very busy working kitchen including cleaning and washing up.

Qualifications required:
GCSE Maths and English at grades 4 / C or above or the equivalent qualifications
