Diploma in Business Administration L2 (part time)

Overview

This course will give you an excellent grounding int he vocational skills and knowledge required for all types of work in the business environment. This varied work-related course is taught by experienced and enthusiastic lecturers. You will gain the knowledge, skills and personal qualities required to work in a range of business organisations. This part-time course is taught over three hours per week for thirty-two weeks.

Course requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. A short interview will assess your suitability and interest in the subject. You must be over 19 years old on commencement of the course and employed in a suitable job role.

What will I do?

Mandatory units will include:

  • Communication in a Business Environment
  • Employer Organisations
  • Manage Personal Performance and Development
  • Develop Working Relationships with Colleagues

The remainder of the qualification will consist of optional units chosen by the learner and relevant to their job role eg. minute taking, supporting meetings, storing and retrieving information.

You will be taught in sessions and workshops, and through continuous assessment and portfolio building. There will be occasions where you will be directly assessed by the tutor within your workplace.

What can I do when I finish?

You can progress to the Level 3 Business Adminstration course.
