Course overview

This course has been devised for learners who have either completed the level 2 photography or have achieved high marks at school in photography and in other subjects.


Course requirements


What will I do?

Whilst studying the 90-Credit Diploma in Art and Design L3 - Photography you will complete tasks and assignments which include both theory and practical working on and off site.

Units may include Visual recordings, Materials and processes, Ideas and concepts.

You will also look into studio and location photography.

You will also need to attend maths and english at GCSE (unless you have a A-C or 4 or above grade)

Materials needed

A DSLR camera and basic stationery.


What can I do when I finish?

Once you have built your skills you may progress on to the level 3 Extended Diploma where you will gain UCAS points that are required for university entrance.
