Course overview

On this course you will learn and practice skills needed to be successful in carrying out Indian head massage. You will develop your career in this subject and will improve your confidence in this specialised area. This Award is taught over 8 weeks. A £50 deposit is required for this course and the remainder of the fee can be paid off during the 8 week course.


Course requirements

Level 2 Beauty or Level 2 Complementary Therapies Qualification. A short interview.


What will I do?

You will be taught a range of theory and practical units. There are practical summative assessments to complete (own models may be required) Topics covered in this are, Indian Head Massage, Assessment opportunities, Knowledge questions, relevant tests which are mandatory, Assessment opportunities will be observed along with the completion of four case studies. The course will be delivered in a practical workshop salon environment.


What will it give me?

The course will help you to develop the skills, knowledge and experience to gain more confidence in carrying out Indian Head Massage. You will improve your skills and enhance employment opportunities within the Complementary Therapy Sector.


Materials needed

Uniform - no kit is needed (must provide own bowls).


What can I do when I finish?

Progression Level 3 Complementary Therapies depending upon achievement, attendance and motivation.
