A Level 1 qualification or equivalent and/or a genuine interest in performing, Interview and short assessment.
Ability to perform to a certain extent on an instrument and/or vocally.
What will I do?
Whilst studying Performance Skills using Music L2 you will learn about the various performance and rehearsal techniques used within professional music practices.
This will involve some research, keeping a performance/rehearsal log, as well as demonstrating these skills in a practical and professional environment.
What will it give me?
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Performance Skills Using Music. This qualification is worth 21 credits.
What can I do when I finish?
Learners who complete this qualification can progress to study further with the Level 3 Diploma in Music or Performing Arts.

To enrol on the Performance Skills using Music L2 you will either have a music or singing skill. On the course you will improve and develop this skill whilst attending both practical workshops and theory sessions.
You will be rqquired to attend Maths and English if you do not hold an A-C or 9-5 grade.
You will also attend work experience and evening events.
