Course overview

Deciding on a career is a big decision. The Kick-Start programme offers a wide variety of courses tailored to your needs where we spend time finding out exactly what career path you want to take. The course also focuses on interview and employability skills.


Course requirements

No formal qualifications required. An interview and short assessment will assess your suitability and interest in this programme.


What will I do?

The Kick-Start programme will fine tune your employability skills, develop confidence and offer you a wide range of vocational work experience taster courses to find the right career path for you. Examples include: Motor Vehicle, Painting & Decorating, Introduction to Hairdressing, Introduction to Beauty Therapy, Catering, Sport and many more.


What will it give me?

This programme will give you the opportunity to take part in different industry trades. It will boost confidence as well as prepare you for a Level 1 and 2 courses in your preferred option (dependent upon final results). It will develop and improve your maths and English knowledge making you more employable and giving you the opportunity for progression to a full time course at the higher level.
