Course overview

A career in care can be extremely rewarding and diverse, with opportunities to work with children, adolescents, older people, people with special needs, hospital patients and the general community.

We will help you develop your skills to the highest level, whichever path you choose.

Course requirements

Minimum 3 GCSEs at grade E-F including Maths and/or English depending on course requirements.

Alternative qualifications and experience will be considered.

What will I do?

You will learn how to care for individuals from birth to old age. As part of this course you will take part in functional skills and enterprise.

What will it give me?

The confidence and ability to study at a higher level and a Level 1 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Materials needed

File, paper, pen and pencil.

What can I do when I finish?

You may be able to progress onto the Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
