Course overview

The Non regulated provision Entry Level Foundations for Learning and Life has been devised for learners who have significant learning difficulties and disabilities.

On the course you will be working slightly below entry level to develop the skills you will need at home and in everyday life.

Set over 3 days a week, where you will have the opportunity to develop your maths and English skills. You will take part in visits and various activities, including outings and development exercises, work experience and work in the classroom. Extensive support will be provided for learners during class, breaks and lunchtimes.

What will I do?

Whilst attending the Non regulated provision Entry Level Foundations for Learning and Life you will start to learn about independent living skills taking into account targets set by your SEN / EHCP plans.

You will take part in various tasters such as Hair and Beauty, childcare, music, art, catering, IT and sport.


What will it give me?

This course will give you foundation for lifelong learning focusing on transferable social, life and employability skills which are essential for living and working in the community.


Materials needed

£2.00 weekly kitty which will be used on outings through the year. Trainers required for the exercise sessions


What can I do when I finish?

Once you have built your skills you can progress on to the Entry level 1 qualification in Independent Living.
