Job Title: 1.0 Lecturer Coordinator in Higher Education & BTEC Electronic & Electrical Engineering

Permanent position from June 2019 – 37 hours per week ( will be based at SWDT, Newton Aycliffe)

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Lecturer Coordinator in Higher Education & BTEC Electronic and Electrical Engineering who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant Faculty area.

The successful candidate will have Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (or willing to work towards within 2 years), PTLLS (or be working towards), a Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards from September 2018) and a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Applicants will also have 3 years’ experience of working in industry, recent experience of teaching on a range of courses within   FE & Higher Education or training and presentation delivery in industry and recent good or outstanding observation of teaching, learning and assessment.
