1.0 Lecturer Coordinator in HNC/D & BTEC Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Lecturer Coordinator in HNC/D & BTEC Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of technical engineering programmes.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within 2 years), a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering and a higher level maths qualification. They will have Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks) and Level 2 in Literacy (or be willing to work towards within 2 years).

Applicants will also have 3 years’ experience of working in industry; the demonstrable ability to teach high level Engineering Mathematics; and experience of teaching HNC/D Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the higher level engineering curriculum and liaising closely with employers to build and consolidate mutually beneficial relationships.
