Casual Nursery Assistants

Casual Nursery Assistant pool – Variable hours – Temporary position from November 2019 until August 2020

Grade: Casual Hourly rate £9.70 

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a pool of Casual Nursery Assistants who will be responsible for working as part of the College Nursery Team and complying with statutory and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have  Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks) and Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (or be willing to work towards within 2 years),  Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Children’s Care Learning and Development (Early Years) or NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Education (Early Years),  Food Safety in Catering  Level 2 (or willing to work towards within 6 months),Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willing to work towards within 6 months).

Applicants will also have relevant experience of working with children in a childcare setting.
