Estates and Facilities Assistant

Job Title: Estates and Facilities Assistant – 37 hours per week – permanent position

Grade: Harmonised Pay Scale Points 12-14 (£16,722 – £17,700 per annum)

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit an Estates and Facilities Assistant who will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective Estates and Facilities service to internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will have Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (or willing to work towards within 2 years), a 3-day First Aid at Work certificate or willing to work towards within 6 months, PAT training or willing to work towards within 12 months

Applicants will also have recent and relevant experience of working in a similar environment with experience of working with young people, particularly those with challenging behavioural issues.
