Finance Assistant – Student Funding

Finance Assistant – Student Funding – 30 hours per week – Permanent position

Grade: HPS Fixed Point 16 (£19,233 pro rata)

 Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant – Student Funding who will be responsible for the allocation and financial monitoring of the College Discretionary Learner Support funding (DLSF), HE loans and Advanced Learner Loans.  They will also be the operational contact for the College student transport service.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Business/Finance or other relevant qualification, Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks) and Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (or be willing to work towards within 2 years).

Applicants will also have experience of financial administration in relation to student funding; experience of working with people of different ages and abilities; and experience of budget/financial management.
