School Liaison Officer

Job Title: School Liaison Officer 37 hours per week – Permanent position from April 2019

Grade: Fixed Point 16 (£18,953.00 per annum)

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a School Liaison Officer who will be responsible for supporting the careers marketing and school liaison function at Bishop Auckland College and South West Durham Training (SWDT) with marketing and recruitment activities. To support school pupil progression and transition and to increase applications with an emphasis on 16 to 19 recruitment.

The successful candidate will have Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (or willing to work towards within 2 years), Level 5 qualification eg. HND/ Foundation degree and Level 4 Information, Advice & Guidance qualification (or be willing to work towards within 6 months)

Applicants will also have experience of presenting and engaging young people.
