Vocational Trainer Assessor in Mechanical Engineering

Permanent position from September 2019 – 37.5 hours per week                 

Grade: £24,480.00 – £29,196.00 per annum

 South West Durham training is seeking to recruit a VTA in Mechanical Engineering who will be responsible for the effective and efficient assessing and teaching in the relevant area.

The successful candidate will have Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy, Level 2 in Numeracy, Equivalent Level 3 Training or appropriate Vocational Qualifications, a Certificate of Education (or willing to work towards within 2 years), IT literate and a Level 3 TAQA or equivalent Assessor qualification (or willing to work towards within 1 year).

Applicants will also have relevant vocational experience, experience of training and assessment and of people of all ages, competence and experience of Mechanical Maintenance, Mechanical Production and Engineering Technical support functions.
