Opening Times

We are open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, closed on Sundays and Mondays. 

Adult Courses

The McIntyre Centre offers a range of adult courses, including English, Maths, Digital Skills, and ESOL. Whether you’d like to improve your English and Maths, develop new digital skills for today’s increasingly digital world, or learn English as an additional language, the McIntyre Centre provides a welcoming and supportive environment for adult learners. Conveniently located in the heart of Bishop Auckland, the centre is designed to help you learn at your own pace and achieve your goals.

Room Hire at The McIntyre Centre

Looking for the perfect space to host your next meeting, training session, or business event? The McIntyre Centre, located in the heart of Bishop Auckland, offers high-quality, professional facilities available for commercial hire.

Our fully equipped digital suite and conference rooms provide the ideal setting for local businesses, community organisations, and groups seeking modern, flexible spaces in a central location.

Pricing

We offer simple and affordable room hire options:

  • Half Day (up to 3 hours): £55

  • Full Day (up to 6 hours): £110

Refreshments are available at £2.50 per person for tea and coffee.

Catering Options

We also provide catering to make your event run smoothly:

  • Premium Buffet – £5 per head (includes sandwiches, wraps, salads, cakes, fruit, crisps)

  • Hot Buffet – available on request
