This course is open to learners aged 19+ with an interest in working within cyber security or IT. Work or industry experience is not required for this course however, you may find it helpful if you have already completed our Level 2 in Cyber Security.

You will study a set of six mandatory units covering: - Core cyber security principles - Threat intelligence and emerging attack techniques - Vulnerabilities, cyber security testing and controls - Incident response planning and reporting - Legislation, standards and ethical conduct - Professional behaviours and skills for cyber roles All learning materials are provided online, allowing you to work through the content at your own pace. Assessment is completed through a portfolio of evidence, submitted remotely. There are no exams and no class attendance requirements.
