Course requirements

What will I do?

Throughout the course you will complete a range of practical projects designed to develop your creative and technical skills. You may: Explore fabrics, fibres and textile materials. Learn hand sewing and basic machine sewing techniques. Experiment with textile decoration methods such as printing, appliqué, embroidery and fabric manipulation. Develop colour, pattern and design ideas. Produce fashion and textile samples and finished creative pieces. Learn about health and safety within a textiles workshop. Build a portfolio showcasing your creative work and personal development.

What can I do when I finish?
