Course overview
This full-time Level 3 Fashion and Textiles course is designed for school leavers who are passionate about fashion and eager to turn their creativity into a career. Whether you already hold a GCSE in a related subject or simply have a strong interest and talent in fashion, this course will help you develop advanced skills in design, garment construction, pattern cutting, and textile experimentation. You'll explore the fashion industry in depth, gaining insight into trends, sustainability, and production processes, while building a professional portfolio to support progression into university or employment. Students will also have the opportunity to collaborate with local employers, take part in live briefs, and showcase their work, giving them valuable industry experience and exposure. With access to well-equipped studios and guidance from experienced tutors, this course is the perfect next step for aspiring designers and makers.
Course requirements
GCSE Grades 4 or above in English and maths.
What will I do?
The course supports students to extend their skills in craft to an advanced level, extend creative and intellectual abilities e.g. communication, innovation and critical evaluation. As well as extending awareness and understanding of health and safety issues. This course also provides a basis for progression onto further study or employment. It also carries UCAS points.

A Level 3 qualification to progress into employment or Higher Education studies.
