Course overview
Build on your existing fabrication and welding knowledge and develop advanced skills for the modern engineering industry. You'll enhance your understanding of CAD, CNC programming and engineering design, while gaining experience producing both 2D and 3D drawings and operating CNC machinery. You'll also explore areas including Quality Control, Maintenance and Communication, preparing you for advanced study, an apprenticeship or employment within the welding industry.
Course requirements
Four GCSEs at grade 4 or above or equivalent, including English or maths.
