What will I do?

Your learning will be a mix of practical sessions, creative tasks, written assignments and online tests. You'll work with real clients, build your confidence and develop a strong professional portfolio. You'll cover a wide range of skills, including: - Working in beauty related industries - Health and safety in the salon - Client care and communication - Promoting products and services - Creating themed looks for hair and beauty - Salon reception duties - Manicure and pedicure treatments - Nail enhancements, including gel systems - Nail art and creative design - Make up application - Eyelash and brow treatments - Skin tanning techniques This combination of units gives you a strong foundation in both nail technology and wider beauty industry skills.

What will it give me?

When you successfully complete the course, you'll achieve a Level 2 Diploma - a respected qualification that opens the door to further study and entry level roles in salons, spas, nail bars and freelance work.

Materials needed

To take part in practical sessions, all students must: - Wear the Beauty department uniform - Purchase a Beauty/Nail kit, available through the College These are essential for developing your professional skills.

What can I do when I finish?
