On this intermediate course you will learn and practice the skills needed to be successful nail technician.

Course requirements

§  You will need a good understanding of maths and English.

§  An informal interview is required.

What will I do?

You will complete set tasks and assignments along with some online tests. The course units include: Working in beauty related industries, Follow Health & Safety in the salon, Client care and communication in beauty industries, Promote products and services, Create an image based on a theme within the hair and beauty sector, Salon reception duties, Provide manicure treatments, Provide pedicure treatments, Provide and maintain nail enhancements, Gel, Provide nail art Apply make-up, Provide eyelash and brow treatments and Apply skin tanning techniques.

What will it give me?

If you are successful in the course you will receive a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma.

Materials needed

All students in the Beauty department are required to wear a uniform and purchase their own Beauty / Nail kit which can be purchased from the College. These are essential for all practical sessions.

What can I do when I finish?
