Wages and Hours
£236.80 and 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8:30 to 4:40, Friday – 8:30 to 4:00. Role is term time only + 5 days – will not be working during school holidays.
Job Description
Purpose
The prime purpose of the role is to ensure office administration tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The role will provide clerical, administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth running of the academy day to day and assist senior staff with their duties.
Responsibilities and Duties
Producing accurate records and documents in a timely manor including emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
Reception Duties
- Dealing with enquiries by telephone
- Welcoming visitors courteously and punctually
- Taking accurate messages to pass on to senior staff
- Maintain and update manual and computerised records
- Production of lists and information including pupil data
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail and distribute across academy as appropriate
- Transmission of faxes, photocopying, filing, completion of forms, registers, school meals and educational visits
- Collecting and recording dinner money, academy trips money, petty cash etc.
- Co-ordinate uniform / snack / book and other shops within the academy (e.g. taking money and placing orders with external suppliers)
- Ensure adequate levels of supplies and stocks as available and as required by Senior Staff
