Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors are official student representatives who help to promote College and courses to young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. The Student Ambassador Scheme supports the recruitment process of the Marketing Department and
also provides a Student Voice within the College. Student Ambassadors:
- Assist with Open Days/Evenings
- Have knowledge of Bishop Auckland College and the courses on offer
- Provide tours of the College to prospective students
- Assist with events during Induction week
- Assist with presentations delivered at local Schools
- Mentor new students as appropriate
- Be the voice for students across the College
- Attend various College meetings eg Safeguarding & Health and Safety, Equality & Diversity, Student Focus Groups and other various Working Groups
- Assist in developing College publicity and marketing information
