How do I apply for a course?
Find the course/s you are interested in and click the apply now button.
What is the process of my application?
Once your online application form is completed we will email you within 3 working days with your interview details. Once interviewed via telephone/onsite if an offer of a place is to be made, an email will be sent asking if you wish to accept the offer. Once the offer has been accepted your place is secured.

How and when can I enrol/opening times?
Full time – you will be invited to an enrolment day once your results are known (end of August)
Part time – once an offer has been made you will be emailed details about how to book a date and time to enrol.
Opening times 10am-4pm Monday to Thursday - later appointments are available on request.
Do I need to bring anything with me to enrol?
Full time – you will need to bring proof of ID, copies of your results and 2 emergency contact names and numbers.
Part time – you will need to bring proof of ID, payment, funding source, evidence of fee remission documents.
What ID is accepted at enrolment?
Below are a number of examples of ID that we can use to confirm your identification when enrolling you onto a course:
- Passport
- National Insurance letter/card
- Provisional UK driving license
- UK Driving license
- Household bill
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate
How much is my course?
Course fees are under price in blue on the course information tab on our website. Where an advanced learner loan is required the course fee will be on the letter which we email.
How can I pay my fees?
- Loan
- Leaner support funds (we will need to see email confirmation to enable enrolment)
- Payment plan for courses over £200
- Employer (we need an email/letter from your employer confirming they will be paying for the course on your behalf)

How do I get my Advanced Learner/HE Loan?
Advanced Learner Loan – once given and accepted a place on your course an email will be sent on how to apply or the loan and details you will need to apply (June) HE Loan please contact gov.uk/student-finance
Am I entitled to Learner Support Fund?
You can complete an application online bacoll.ac.uk/learningsupportfunds

Am I eligible for a bus pass and how do I get one?
Please refer to the Arriva website

Free travel is available for all 16-18 year olds who are studying a full time course.
19+ learners can apply via our Student Finance Assistant.
How do I obtain my uniform/kit?
Your tutor will contact you regarding this.
