This course will give you an excellent opportunity to develop vocational skills and knowledge required for all types of work in the business environment. This varied work-related course is taught by experienced and enthusiastic lecturers. You will gain the knowledge, skills and personal qualities required to work in a range of business organisations. This part-time course is taught over three hours per week for thirty-two weeks.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. A short interview will assess your suitability and interest in the subject. You must be over 19 years old on commencement of the course and employed in an appropriate job role or be prepared to undertake a voluntary work placement for at least one/two days per week in a suitable role and environment.
What will I do?

Principles of Business Communication and Information
Principles of Administration
Principles of Business
The remainder of the qualification will consist of optional units chosen by the learner and relevant to their job role e.g. Manage Physical Resources, Procure Products or Services, Customer Service, Use email, Prepare for Quality Audits, Data analysis, Produce Bespoke Documents, Chair Meetings, Produce Minutes of Meetings, Manage budgets etcYou will be taught in sessions and workshops, and through continuous assessment and portfolio building. There will be occasions where you will be directly assessed by the tutor within your workplace

You can progress to the Level 4 Business Administration course depending on job role or HND Business.
