We are proud to announce the arrival of Bishop Auckland College’s first ever Level 7 qualification a Masters in Psychotherapy Studies! This experiential contemporary higher education programme enables students to extend and further their academic success through their knowledge and understanding of therapeutic practice, theoretical approaches and current research as well as learning to work creatively and wildly! There is a no other therapeutic Masters programme like this one currently out there on the HE market. If you want an extraordinary learning experience as well as a Level 7 qualification this is the course for you! This qualification is validated by The Open University.
This programme is taught on a face to face basis. It is taught over two years on the part time degree option.

BA (Hons) degree in counselling with evidence of 100 hours clinical placement with 2.1 classification.

Year Two: Research Thesis, Contemporary Approaches in Psychotherapy 2, Personal & Professional Development 2, Working Wildly.

MA in Psychotherapy Studies.
What can I do when I finish?
Go on to further academic study such as a Professional Doctorate and/or specialist training, seek employment within the counselling profession or set up in private practice.
