Introduction to Cake Decorating

Starting Wednesday, 1st March 2023, 17.30 pm – 20.30 pm for 5 weeks

By undertaking the course, you will gain an awareness and understanding of:

• Opportunity for sharing ideas and social integration
• Exploring being creative and developing new baking skills, in a safe, relaxed learning environment
• Use of equipment, utensils, tools and preparations
• How to colour and shape sugarpaste to create a cupcake that looks like a burger
• How to decorate a flowerpot cupcake
• How to use Royal icing to pipe biscuits
• How to create a cake topper using the art of sugarcraft
• How to decorate a ‘faultline cake’ for Easter
• How making and decorating a cake can be an enjoyable way to promote positive thoughts, behaviours and emotions

The course is FREE, to those in receipt of a means tested benefit, if not there is a charge of £25
