I am enjoying gaining many new skills on my course. After finishing my Level 1 Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance at the College last year, I secured a part time job at North East Independent Transit Specialists. The company has offered me a full time position when I have finished my training.

What courses could I study?
We have a course at BAC regardless of your previous experience of Motor Vehicle. If you have some experience, you might enter at Level 2. If not, we have other courses designed to build up your skills first. 4
What facilities would I have access to?
You would have access to our fully equipped motor vehicle workshop. Here you will gain experience of working on a range of different makes and models of cars to ensure you have the experience needed to
be successful in your career. Students will have the opportunity to support tutors in identifying a range of issues on cars that are brought to the garage and potentially work on customers cars too!
What trips could I go on?
Students go on a range of trips each year to ensure their knowledge of the industry is as up-to-date as possible. This includes visiting different car shows to discover the latest developments in hybrid and electric cars, as
well as new technology that is changing the role of a motor vehicle mechanic.
