Performing Arts L3
My course offers me the perfect pathway to university. I enjoy the atmosphere at the college and working with other students on different performances. We get lots of workshops and external speakers visiting, including sessions on things like sword training!

What courses could I study?
We have a course at BAC regardless of your previous experience of Performing Arts. If you have studied it at GCSE level, you might be able to go directly onto our Level 3 A-Level equivalent course! If not, we have other courses designed to build up your skills first. 4
What facilities would I have access to?
As a Performing Arts student at BAC you would have access to a number of studios and creative spaces. You will have access to our dedicated stage area for performances as well as a number of practice
rooms. Students can record vocal work in the recording studios also used by our music students.
What trips could I go on?
Students will visit theatre productions each year. These will be a wide variety of performances from pantomime to drama. Where possible these are linked to workshops where students meet the creative teams behind the productions. Recent productions students have enjoyed include Miss Saigon, Aladdin and Lord of the Flies.
Students will also work with a range of external partners on different projects. Past partners have included Daisy Arts, The Auckland Project, Crook Fire Station and Beamish Museum.
Sometimes the experts also visit college! In the past we've had Q&A sessions with working professionals, including an actor from the national tour of Miss Saigon.
