Course overview

To enrol on the Performance Skills using Music Level 2 you will either have a music or singing skill. On the course you will improve and develop this skill whilst attending both practical workshops and theory sessions.
You will be required to attend maths and English if you do not hold an A-C or 9-5 grade.
You will also attend work experience and evening events.

Course requirements

A Level 1 qualification or equivalent and/or a genuine interest in performing, ability to perform to a certain extent on an instrument and/or vocally. There will be an interview and short assessment.

What will I do?

Minimum 4 GCSE’s at grades 3 - 2 (D - E) or equivalent, including a D in Maths and English, or a Level 1 qualification in a relevant subject area.

What will it give me?

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Performance Skills Using Music. This qualification is worth twenty one credits.

Materials needed

An instrument and basic stationery.

What can I do when I finish?

Learners who complete this qualification can progress to study further with the Level 3 Diploma in Music or Performing Arts.
