Trainer Assessor

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Trainer Assessor who will be responsible for the effective and efficient assessing within the relevant area.

You will be required to assess learners across a broad range of Early Years and Primary school settings; learners will be on study programmes (16-18 year olds) and adults on programmes of study in early years and teaching assistants. From level 1 to level 3 courses ( including T.Levels) that we offer at the College as well as assessments required for learners on apprenticeship courses. You will work closely with the Early Years team and liaise with tutors about progress as well as the employers. You will be required to drive to the settings for the assessments and you will need a clean DBS check.

The successful candidate will be required to possess vocational qualification (Level 3) in a relevant subject area and Assessor Units.

It is desirable that the candidate will also possess an IT qualification, Level 2 Equality & Diversity, Internal Verifier qualification and PTLLS/CTLLS or working towards.

Applicants will also have vocational experience in relevant area, experience of assessing in the work place and experience of supporting apprentices.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
