Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a 1.0 Lecturer Coordinator in Music, who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant curriculum area.

Part of the coordination role will include working with local industry experts to gain knowledge and expertise in supporting students into further progression and employment, as well as showcasing student talents in performances both in-house and externally.

The successful candidate will be required to possess minimum Level 3 in relevant subject. It is desirable that the candidate will also possess an IT qualification, Level 2 Equality & Diversity, Degree, Level 3 Assessors Certificate, Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance/Internal Verification and QTLS.

Applicants will also have recent experience of teaching on a range of courses in FE or a training establishment and 3 years’ experience of working in the industry.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
