Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Part Time Teacher in Uniformed Public Services & Criminology who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant Curriculum area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who would be able to teach on a range of programmes and levels within our excellent Uniformed Public Services and Criminology department. Your role would include supporting the team to deliver to study programme (16-18 year olds) and adult learners, we are looking for individuals who have excellent leadership skills, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our learners.

You would also be involved with the collaboration of external events and activities to enhance the learning experiences.

The successful candidate will be required to possess Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within 2 years) and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in relevant subject.

It is desirable but not essential that the candidate will also possess an IT qualification, Level 2 Equality & Diversity, Degree, Level 3 Assessors Certificate, Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance/Internal Verification and QTLS. Applicants will also have experience of teaching on a range of courses.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
