Bishop Auckland College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part Time Teacher in Motor Vehicle.

£25.45 – £26.97 per hour (inclusive of bank holiday and holiday entitlement)

22.5 hours per week

Temporary until June 2025

This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in motor vehicle maintenance and repair.

The successful candidate will be working with full and part time students from Entry Level to Level 3 with a view to grow higher and extended qualifications. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in our new and innovative hybrid and electrical training classroom and will support students in using these new panel systems.

Candidates will have a Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within two years), a minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and willing to be trained on new teaching systems within the college. A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in the industry would also be desirable and the College Group will fully fund any qualification that needs to be completed for the role as deemed appropriate.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
